Welcome to Mount Batur Camping. By making a booking with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once:
- We have confirmed availability for your selected date and package; and
- The required deposit or full payment has been received, as agreed during the booking process.
Please provide accurate information when making your booking, including the number of participants, contact details, hotel or pickup location, and any special requirements.
Mount Batur Camping reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information has been provided.
2. Payment
Payment requirements will be communicated during the booking process.
Depending on the selected package, we may require a deposit to secure your booking, with the remaining balance payable before or on the day of the activity.
Any additional services, transportation, special requests, or upgrades not included in the original booking may be subject to additional charges.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that payment is completed according to the agreed booking arrangements.
3. Cancellation by Guest
We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 7 days before the activity
Free cancellation. Any payment made will be refunded in full, excluding any non-refundable third-party fees or transaction charges, if applicable.
3–7 days before the activity
50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
Less than 72 hours before the activity
100% of the total booking amount will be charged and no refund will be provided.
No-show
If a guest does not arrive at the agreed meeting or pickup location and does not notify us in advance, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.
4. Changes to Your Booking
We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes to your booking, subject to availability.
Changes may include:
- Changing the activity date
- Changing the number of participants
- Changing the pickup location
- Adding transportation or additional services
Any changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
Requests for changes should be made as early as possible.
5. Cancellation or Changes by Mount Batur Camping
Guest safety is our highest priority. Because our activities take place in a natural outdoor environment, Mount Batur Camping may need to cancel, postpone, modify, or change an activity due to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Volcanic or natural activity
- Government regulations or restrictions
- Unsafe environmental conditions
- Road closures
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
If we cancel an activity before it begins due to safety reasons or operational circumstances, we will offer, where possible:
- An alternative date;
- An alternative experience; or
- A refund of the amount paid for the affected activity.
Mount Batur Camping is not responsible for additional personal expenses incurred by guests, including accommodation, flights, transportation, meals, or other travel-related costs.
6. Weather Conditions
Mount Batur Camping is an outdoor experience, and weather conditions can change quickly.
Rain, clouds, wind, fog, or changes in visibility do not automatically qualify for a refund if the activity can safely continue.
Natural conditions such as sunrise views, star visibility, clear weather, and scenic visibility cannot be guaranteed.
Our team will always prioritize safety and will make decisions based on current conditions.
7. Guest Responsibilities
All guests are expected to:
- Follow the instructions of our team and guides
- Respect the natural environment
- Respect local culture and communities
- Avoid littering
- Take responsibility for their personal belongings
- Inform us of any special requirements before the activity
- Behave responsibly and respectfully toward other guests and our staff
Mount Batur Camping reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest whose behavior may endanger themselves, other guests, staff, or the environment.
No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
8. Health and Physical Condition
Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate in the selected activity.
Please inform us before booking if you have any medical conditions, mobility limitations, injuries, or other circumstances that may affect your participation.
Guests should follow the recommendations and safety instructions provided by our team.
We reserve the right to advise against participation if we reasonably believe that continuing the activity may create a safety risk.
9. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the activity.
Mount Batur Camping is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items, including cameras, mobile phones, bags, money, or other valuables.
We recommend bringing only necessary valuables and keeping them secure at all times.
10. Environmental Responsibility
As a locally owned company from the Mount Batur area, we are committed to protecting our natural environment.
We kindly ask all guests to:
- Take care of the natural surroundings
- Avoid unnecessary plastic waste
- Dispose of rubbish responsibly
- Respect plants, animals, and wildlife
- Avoid damaging natural or cultural sites
Guests may be held responsible for intentional damage caused to equipment, property, or the environment.
11. Photography and Media
During the activity, photographs and videos may be taken by our team for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos used for marketing, please inform our team before the activity begins.
Guests are welcome to take personal photographs and videos, provided this does not affect safety, disturb other guests, or damage the environment.
12. Liability
Outdoor activities involve certain inherent risks. By participating in a Mount Batur Camping experience, guests acknowledge and accept the normal risks associated with outdoor and nature-based activities.
Mount Batur Camping will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and enjoyable experience. However, we cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, weather conditions, government actions, or the actions of third parties.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Cancellation Policy – Quick Summary
